Scriptures Alone! Grace Alone! Christ Alone!

It is amazing how that sometimes so very much can be said in so very few words. The following words by Arthur Pink are an excellent example. “God is working out His eternal purpose, not only in spite of human and satanic opposition, but by the means of them.” What a statement! What a God! With perfect ease “He worketh all things after the counsel of His own will.”

I have often been asked over the years concerning Arminians, “”Do they know God” or “Can they be saved?” My answer has usually been something like this: “There is only one gospel and sinners must believe that gospel to be saved. And I would leave it at that.

At this stage in my life I will make this statement, with much sadness but without reluctance: Those poor souls who preach and/or believe in the Arminian gospel believe in a false god who could not save them, even if they decided to “let him.” Anytime you hear a preacher say that God is trying to do something, won’t you let him, dear soul you are listening to a false prophet preach his false god! I urge you to find another church, another preacher, and READ YOUR BIBLE! The time is short....

Matthew 26:14-15 “Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, and said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him (Jesus) unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.”

Ever since he “betrayed innocent blood” (Matthew 27: 3, 4), selling the Lord Jesus to the highest bidder, the name Judas has been a byword, symbolic of the worst form of treachery and deceit known to man. However, though he stands out in history as unique and his crime the most sinister, his sin is still among us.

The man who identifies with and/or supports, in any way, preachers, churches and ministries which, in their preaching, deliver Christ into the hands of His enemies to do with Him as they will; auction...

“Enter ye in at the strait gait…Straight is the gate and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” (Matthew 7:13, 14; Luke 13:24)

The words above were spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ. And He said in another place, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). Since, then, HE is the “straight gate,” the “narrow way,” and “the life;” and since HE/LIFE is received through simple faith and trust (Acts 10:43; 16:30, 31; Romans 10:1-17; John 3:14-16, 36) WHY is the entrance and way of life described as being so strait, so narrow, so compressed, so difficult? Is it because men are so sinful and the...

Try as he may, the preacher cannot make a sinner. The Word of God alone cannot make a sinner. One may read or hear the truth of man’s condition before God until it is committed to memory, but that will not make him to be a sinner in the true biblical sense of the word.

It is the Lord alone who can make men and women to be sinners in the biblical sense. God the Holy Spirit does some writing in the hearts of those whom He saves (II Corinthians 3:1-3; Hebrews 8:10-12). In big black letters God writes SINNER in the heart of each one He saves. And when God does this writing, try as one may, it cannot be erased, removed, ignored, covered up or forgotten. That person, in the true biblical sense of the word, is a SINNER; an acknowledged, self-conde...

Try to remember these words of Martin Luther as you live out your days in this religious world: "If I profess with loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except precisely that point where the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, then I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Him!" "Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved; and to be steady on all the battle-front besides is merely flight and disgrace if he flinches at that point." Dear souls, though there is hardly any doctrine of Scripture that modern religion firmly stands for, yet the most basic and essential doctrines of God's Word, they firmly and unitedly stand against. Mod...
